Mr. Myers has approximately 20 years of experience in the Energy sector. In his role as CFO of Tall Oak Midstream, Mr. Myers is primarily responsible for leading the finance, accounting risk management and capital formation aspects of Tall Oak Midstream. Prior to forming Tall Oak, Mr. Myers was treasurer of OGE Energy Corp (“OGE”). In this role he had oversight responsibility for cash management, corporate finance, insurance, and corporate development. OGE owns the regulated utility OG&E and has a 50 percent governance interest in Enable Midstream Partners. Before he was named Treasurer, Mr. Myers served as managing director of corporate development.
Prior to joining OGE in 2005, Max was with Westar Energy in Kansas as director of finance and corporate development. While at Westar, he spent three years in France where he managed Westar’s unregulated investment in Protection One Europe.
Max has an undergraduate degree in business with a concentration in geology and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from the University of Kansas. He is very active in the Oklahoma City community and serves as the Chairman of Junior Achievement of OKC and is Treasurer of Allied Arts. Max previously served on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. Max and his wife Janie have two boys and live in Edmond, Oklahoma.
